Program description - May 2026

Conestoga's Bookkeeping program provides you with a holistic set of skills and knowledge in just one year, offering fundamental skills in financial accounting, personal income tax, and payroll.

The program also works to develop your critical interpersonal and collaborative skills, which will help you build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other contacts within the industry.

Taught by committed faculty with extensive industry experience, this one-year certificate program allows you to work with industry-standard software and emerging applications used in the field.

By enrolling in this program, you will be aligned with Canada's largest and fastest-growing certifying body of bookkeepers, Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada. You will also have the opportunity to fast-track toward the nationally recognized Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) designation.

Financial assistance

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a needs-based program designed to help eligible Ontario students cover the cost of post-secondary education.
